Fallen Heroes the Comic Adaptation – Read the Issue 2 Preview Now!

Well it’s been a while a coming but I think you will agree from this preview that the wait has been more than worth it. Just a quick disclaimer that some of the art and lettering isn’t quite finished yet but we were all very eager to give you lot a quick look at the next issue.

Fingers crossed the issue will be ready in time for launching at the Thought Bubble Festival this November.

Welcome to Glasgow Comic Con. The first event of it’s kind in Glasgow for 15 years. We’ll be going ‘old school’ with new twists. The event will be taking place in the unconventional but totally stunning Mackintosh Church, Arts & Heritage Centre, where “pop culture comics meets a design icon”.

For the first time ever, we’ll be hosting a new annual awards celebrating indy creators! The Scottish Independent Comic Book Awards VIP party, 18 June 8pm – midnite at the Mackintosh Church. (separate tickets available for this)
The Day will be stacked with signings (All FREE), sketching sessions, talks and panels. Plus a dealers room full with comics, toys and stuff.

Everyone gets a FREE goody bag on the day, which includes the ‘Glasgow Comic Con guide’ (cover price £7.50), full of new art.

If you’re heading to the Glasgow comic con this Saturday be sure to find Martin Conaghan, the writer of the Fallen Heroes comic adaptation. Martin will be on hand selling copies of Fallen Heroes#1 during the day. You can find him on the Burke and Hare table, located in the Indy/Small Press Publishers area.

Fallen Heroes at the Bristol Comic Expo 2009

Between May 9th -10th I will be attending the Bristol Comic Expo 2009 to help promote the upcoming Fallen Heroes graphic novel adaptation from Insomnia Publications.

The adaptation is starting to gather steam. I have been chatting this the writer of the adaptation Martin Conaghan and things are on the move.

I will be selling/signing special copies  which include deleted scenes from the book and my reasons as to why they were removed as well as a brief look at Book 2 – Perdition’s Shroud. I’ll also be chatting to whoever will listen about the book and the adaptation.
