As the various creative teams work their hearts on the second Unseen Shadows Anthology I thought it would be as good a time as any to show off the brilliant cover as drawn by Peter Mason along with some story blurbs.
So read on!

So here’s a little treat for a Friday afternoon. The first three penciled pages by Valia Kapadai from ‘The Immaculate Abortion of Dina Leigh’ written by Cy Dethan and lettered by Nic Wilkinson. The story stars down on his luck reporter Bob Kelsey who it seems can’t escape the occult and the supernatural no matter how far he runs.
Check out Valia’s fantastic pages below.
The Immaculate Abortion of Dina Leigh is part of the Tales of the Forgotten anthology releasing at Thought Bubble in November.
Just in time for payday you can now order the first Unseen Shadows comic anthology Tales of the Fallen direct from Amazon.co.uk.

“If, like me, you like rip-roaring testosterone fuelled pulp fiction with soldiers, and mysteries, and all round weird stuff in, then this is the book for you.” – Jonathan Ross
They are murderers, martyrs and mercenaries in the no-man s-land between adventure and crusade soldiers of fate and fierce honour, bound together in mystery, darkness and blood. Their enemies are shadows haunting the outermost borders of a darkening world, and as night approaches the shadows grow long.
They are the Fallen, and these are their stories.
Tales of the Fallen is an anthology of four stories featuring characters from the best selling novel Fallen Heroes by Barry Nugent.
‘“this book is filled with a whole new universe full of objects of mystery, high flying adventure, monsters, espionage, Indiana Jones-caliber action, and a whole lot of fun characters.” – Ainitcool
“an intriguing package for a pulp series that blends different genres effectively.” –NewPulp
Despite my dictator like behavior last year towards the Tales of the Fallen creative team last year they seem to be up for more punishment as the majority of teams will be staying on to create more stories within the Unseen Shadows in 2012/2013. First up will be a series of one shots to be released throughout 2012. The plan will be to release these titles in a digital format and then collect them all in a printed format to be published towards the end of 2012. This will hopefully coincide with ‘Forgotten Warriors’ the sequel to Fallen Heroes, which I hope will be out this year *crosses fingers* – this second anthology will be called Tales of the Forgotten.
