Reviews
“It reads like a TV series, with cliff hangers at the end of most chapters, and larger than life characters with big egos and quick wits. The book as a whole draws on many popular culture references & influences, and is easily compared to ‘Sin City’, ‘The Da Vinci Code’, ‘Heroes’ or ‘Buffy’ – there really is something for everyone and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone that enjoys reading or watching Sci-Fi/Fantasy.” – Waterstone’s
“Fallen Heroes is a stylish debut filled with sparkling characters in a skilfully drawn adventure that heralds the arrival of a bright new talent.” – James Barclay

Hi Barry
I met you at the recent Thought Bubble Comic Con in Leeds and bought ‘Fallen Heroes’ and ‘Forgotten Warriors’ from you. I was so impressed with the first two chapters of Fallen Heroes that I popped back to tell you on the Sunday. I promised you feedback so here it is…
This book is awesome and the best novel I have read in some time. I was hooked from the start with the fast pace and action packed opening chapters. This pace kept going as the story developed which kept me wanting to read more. I loved the mixture of characters and plot twists from mystery and intrigue to supernatural forces. This book has everything in spades, thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish, can’t wait to read the sequel. Full five stars from me
Regards
Jeff Blanshard
Hi Jeff,
Yes I do remember you at Thought Bubble fella, hello again! I especially remember the nerves I had when you came up to me on the Sunday to tell me you had already started Fallen Heroes. Luckily for me you were enjoying the ride.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post and letting me know how much you liked the book. I’m so glad you enjoyed it and I hope you have a blast reading Forgotten Warriors.
All the best
Barry
Also please spread the word, tell your friends and if you’ve got a social media account then pleas give the novel a little mention, if you can. The downside of being self published is a zero marketing budget so I’ll take all the help I can get getting the word out.
All the best
Barry
