Chardon was a duplicitous man, who did little to assuage Luther’s fears that he was far more concerned with advancing his own career than protecting the lives of those in his charge. Chardon took over as Director of TORCH when its previous and most decorated leader William Anderson was assassinated. A shrewd and cunning agent in his own rights Chardon gives the air of being little more than a paper pusher but those who made that mistake have usually found it to be their last.
