Ashfall Preview

One of our upcoming projects is comic Ashfall, the story of how demon stalker Napoleon Stone took down his mentor and friend Nathan Ash.

It’s a pretty brutal story from Dan Thompson. Full of violence and sorrow, the book takes unflinching look at how extreme circumstances can change and shape a person.

We’ve got the first lettered page of it here for you to feast your eyes upon. The pencils from Paul Williams are really stunning. We are very proud of this book.

Exclusive Artwork From Ashfall

One of our upcoming titles Ashfall is now under way and we have an exclusive sneak peek at a page from this book.

Written by Dan Thompson, with artwork by Paul Williams, colour from Darren Brown and letters from Paul Mclaren, this comic is going to be a scorcher.

The story follows hero Napoleon ‘Demon Stalker’ Stone as he hunts down his former mentor and friend Nathan Ash.

While being tasked to take Ash down Napoleon reflects on a previous mission with his friend, we get a glimpse into the workings of these two damaged men. Is Stone really going to be able to take out the man who helped train him up?

This is a story with heart and great sacrifice, what price does following orders blindly have? And how did Napoleon Stone become the badass demon killing machine we see in Fallen Heroes? This book gives us some answers.

Darren Brown Joins Ashfall and First Look at Page 1 in Full Colour

So it’s been a since we had an update for Ashfall which stars Napoleon Stone and his mentor Nathan Ash so I reckon it was about time for one and it’s a biggie. I’m using this post to welcome Darren Brown to the team who will be handling the colours for the project to complement Peter Mason’s (Cancertown 2) art and Paul Mclaren’s lettering. As part of his welcome to the Ashfall creative team Darren has provided us with a full colour page 1 for everyone to enjoy.

In case you’ve forgotten here is the blurb for Ashfall which is written by Dan Thompson (Band of Butchers)

Napoleon Stone faces his greatest challenge, as he sets out to hunt down the very man who trained him! For thirty years Nathan Ash was the best in the business but now he’s gone rogue and Napoleon is on his trail with orders to bring the old man in, dead or alive!

Dan Thompson (Band of Butchers, Moon) and Peter Mason (Cancertown 2) bring you a tale of lies, loyalty and left hooks in the latest action-packed comic from the world of Barry Nugent’s best selling Unseen Shadows saga!

Tales of the Forgotten: Napoleon Stone Adventure ‘Ashfall’ Finds it’s Artist

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted any news from Unseen Shadows but that’s not because nothing been going on, quite the opposite. Work has been progressing nicely on the second Unseen Shadows Comic anthology entitled ‘Tales of the Forgotten’. The reason behind the title as that this anthology will hopefully coincide with the launch of ‘Forgotten Warriors’ the follow up to Fallen Heroes and the second part of the Unseen Shadows trilogy of novels.
